Borrow from Indian brides, who feature dramatic jewel tones as part of their wedding makeup and fashion. Here is a deep smoky eye in intense colors. It’s best to pair these eyes with cheek and lip tones that are softer and more subdued than the eye colors, but remain within the same palette.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the natural “no makeup” look for brides — of course, it takes a lot of technique to look this naturally perfect! The keys here are a flawless foundation, subtle contouring, artfully applied shimmer, and colors that are just a shade or two off from the bride’s skin tone.

Glam Nature Girl: a pretty pink lip with deep earth tones on the eyes.

Set off porcelain skin with standout lips. This look works when balanced with soft eye makeup and barely-there cheeks.

Oh, oh, ombre! This look works with just about any combination from light to dark. Just make sure cheek and lip tones are downplayed, since this is look is all about the eyes.
